Does anyone miss the old Tavern? It was cozy and familiar, it smelled of beer and bad French perfume, and the door was large enough for my horse. My horse? Where has he gotten to? There must be a mare about. Speaking of mares, "Helga, where is my ale?"

Yeah, this one stinks of smelly British Riflemen and old Peninsular Generals!

Couldn't agree with you more Muddy! Bring back the French perfume. Anything but this Anglo-Saxon odor!

Helga, some cheese please to go with my grape juice. Ah yes, much better. Oh yes and please open up the windows and doors. Yes, MUCH better! :D

I am having major hassles loging in. The password seems to go inactive and I have to keep requesting a new one. I can't even get into the Battle registration anymore!
Talk about moving to a new location!
Just seems to be so sterile and modern that I actually dread trying to log in!
I notice banter has dried up too!
What it needs is a ....NEW RELEASE!!!!

Indeed, the former one was much more cosy and familiar.

But the best thing we can do about this one is make it just as good as the old. So I sincerely invite all of you to the russian table (= parallel thread).

Helga! Some good wine here! And please, do change these your clothes. The traditional costume fits you much better!

Logging into this forum and registering a new game are two different things Mike. One has to do with the Automated system and the other has to do with your login to this site. So I am not following what issues you could be having? Are you saying that the Auto system is having issues?

I log into this forum and the autosystem just fine. If you are having problem with the forum contact Pierre D. If its the Auto system contact John Corbin. I am sure that either one of them will get you set up properly.

Frankly I like the new forum. I have only one gripe: when you click on a link it doesn't open a new forum tab and I liked that feature in the old forum. But I can just right click on the link anyway if I like.

We also need a PayPal link to Alex' account to help us pick up the tab on the costs of this new forum. Its nice that he offers these forums for us.

Hey, if anyone else wants to host the forum and can set it up better ... well go for it. For me as long as its not harsh on the eyes I can live with this one.

Most definitely agree on the new release. "Marching Through Iberia" sounds like a good idea to me.
