It seems that I used to be able to readily locate the battle records of the French Officers. Now, with the 2011 Tournament approaching, I cannot seem to find any information on our venerable opponents. Perhaps I am not looking in the right place. Of course, there is one other theory making the rounds.... ![]() |

Since the inception of the Autosystem all of our records are stored there. I cannot find your records either so that must mean that you flew the coop and wont play us! ![]() I would be nice to see some sort of transparency for both sides in the Autosystem much like what we see over in the Panzer Campaigns Club. There you can open up the Members list in the Autosystem and find a member's record, who they played, the scenario, etc. If you want to know a specific member's record just email them. I am sure that for a few francs (the universal currency in Europe since we overran your country) that we will tell you! ![]() ![]() |

Bill, all of the Allied battle records are openly posted under the Allied Coalition Officers link. The Russians even include the detailed list to which you refer, i.e. every scenario played, opponent's name, number of turns played, date of game, etc. The only Allied Battle Records that I did not readily find were the Prussians. As for the French, I cannot find any records for any officers whatsoever. Are you not able to see the Allied Officer Records? |

The glory of so called big army in general and the notion of its leader's invincibility in particular simply can't coexist at the same time. Tradition of hiding stats has roots more than 200 years old. ![]() |

Colin, old chap, good to hear from you. Now there is one French officer who should be proud to post his battle record for all to see. ![]() Oh, there was one other rumor that I have heard. That is that Le Grande Armee is composed entirely of pastry chefs and fashionistas. It is easy to get them up for an early morning march, but once their uniforms become soiled, they become essentially useless, incessently complaining about the fact that life is not fair while dilligently searching for the nearest laundrymat. ![]() |

Lt Jones I shall have you know our pastries are the best in the world! We French never march on an empty stomach so there may be some accuracy in your claim. However the only reason we would need a laundry is to briefly stop and enjoy some Margaux while we have the fresh blood of our enemies washed from our beautifully tailored tunics by the conquered lackeys of the perfidious albion. |

Did you click our link at the page: http://scott-ludwig.com/NWC/officerlists.htm Goes right to it... ![]() Oh and I never trust autosystems just for logistical problems of all sorts that can happen, so I always maintain my own records & pages. |

Yes, Scott, the link does go right to the Prussian Officer Records as it should. I had been there before. Don't know why, or how, I overlooked it when I made the original post. Please accept my sincerest apology for the oversight. ![]() Guess the only ones missing now are the French officer records, which brings us back to the original theory. ![]() |

The French fear nothing. Certainly not strudel eaters, shop keppers or the like. In truth... The French army stopped maintainin seperate lists of records when the DoR came online. There is simply not emough peoople willing to step up and do that sort of thing here |

Yes, John, I actually expected that was the answer. You cannot do it all yourself. That is certainly an unreasonable expectation. It seems like Marco may have discovered a way to generate a battle record list from the Autosystem. If this is possible, it could be a step in the right direction requiring, hopefully, a minimal effort. Please realize that I am not a webmaster and am certainly not trying to create more work for you. Just hoping we can find a simple solution that works. So what about it all you French Officers? Is anyone willing to step up to the plate and give John a hand or are you going to simply roll over and let the Allied Armies continue to outshine you in this regard? ![]() ![]() What is the point of winning battles, admittedly few though they may be, and medals if you hide your accomplishments from the world? I am not certain that your beloved Emperor would embrace the concept of individual obscurity. ![]() |

I noticed a possible issue at the link Scott posted. For some reason all of my defeats are listed as minor defeats. While I would love to say there were no major defeats tis not so. I see a lot of AAA Officers showing 0 major defeats so I suspect there is some descrepency in the report. |

Especially if a Prussian is keeping them! Hmm, lets see, in the 1813 World Series it was: Prussians 10 Russians 2 Austrians 1 Swedes 0 And French 6 Typical method of bloating the Prussian contribution. ![]() |

Haha not quite bloating Bill, tis true though! We won most of the games in 1813-14. Hey our leadership drove hard to beat Nappy.... ![]() But Ed the page I run all links off to pages maintained by the various army webmasters. So you'll have to take up the issue w/Marco, it is his site that lists the AAA info not mine. ![]() |
