Santa provided a new computer for Christmas, which being new, runs on Windows 7. The CD drive appears to run when I put in my game discs, but it does not show up in the tree. Are the Talonsoft Battlegrounds, and the HPS Napoleonic & EAW series incompatible with Windows 7, or do I need some sort of emulator installed, or is my drive not functioning properly, or what? Any help would appreciated. |

A far as I know, the old Talonsoft games ( not the newer Matrix versions ) will not work on Windows 7. HPS works in Windows 7 but you should check the HPS Site for tips on installing on windows 7 |

I was just about to post the same question. Do you know for sure if the old talonsoft games do not work? Also with the hps games I could run the CD and get the game installed but when I run the update patches i get an error message. |

You will have to try and see if they work. As to the HPS games. Check the HPS Site for tips on installing on windows 7. I had no issues. |
