Guys - I may not agree with some of the Russians in the clubs on things but I want to point one of them that deserves a huge thanks from myself and our team/John Tiller, etc. - Anton Kosyanenko. Anton took my list of cossacks I sent him and created a master list which contained not only the correct transliterated name in English but also the Russian name. He then simplified it for me and made it easier to make corrections to my text. Much thanks Anton! Your help with uniforms also was much appreciated. Your help will help us put out a finer product. And help your fellow countryman from grimacing over our attempts to portray the Russians in the games as well. This list would be a big help to anyone reading some of the sources I cited in my Bibliography for this game. I may include it in the game along with some other charts and lists I have created. Pending your permission of course. |

Thank you, Bill! I do not mind the list being included. On the other hand, if that is done, I suggest that sources in Russian that I used are included into the references list. In this very case my role was more of translator than of researcher. All the research was done by other guys. Wish I could join in earlier. As we already discussed quite some work is done that already won't be changed. But they could be, did I supply you with Russian language sources on time. |

Is this for an Eylau release? |

Anton - yes, you supplied everything in plenty of time. I will email you about the sources. Thanks! Andrew - not allowed to state what title it is. There are several titles that include Russians and cossacks in particular. I will let you guess as to which one it is. Hint: its not the Peninsular game! LOL No, they were not Spanish or Portuguese Cossacks! ![]() |
