Post subject:  Posting etiquette

The NWC was founded to promote game play covering the Napoleonic period. Many people, over the years, have contributed to our enjoyment by designing games and/or creating (at no charge) mods for the games we play. Both of these endeavors require great skill and dedication and we should applaud all who do this.

Recent threads/posts have caused some upset among several members in this club. Some have felt that their work has been maligned and ridiculed. We in the cabinet feel that the concerns are somewhat justified but also feel that no one person or group of people is solely at fault. Posts that show a lack of respect for anyone or their nationality or the work they do will be dealt with quickly and may result in suspensions from the forums for a period of time.

This club works best when everyone respects each other and the work that is done.

We encourage the membership to feel free to discuss the work being done by designers of games and mods in an open and respectful manner. By all means ask questions and offer advice and encouragement. Ask about what sources were used when something was designed. This process will encourage learning for all and make the games that much more enjoyable.

Keeping the above in mind, HPS Games has made it quite clear that issues/bugs with games already released should be addressed directly to the HPS Support mail box. You can post these questions in the forums but you will not receive a response in the forum
