I was tinkering around with looking at the member list and did a little data mining. When you click on a username it comes up with some info and one of the tidbits is the percentage of all posts the user has made toward the grand total....

So I did the top 10 and made a list....it shouldn't surprise you, but some may.....

1.) Bill Peters - 11.34% of all posts - (3495 posts)

2.) Scott Ludwig - 5.88% of all posts - (1813 posts)

3.) John Corbin - 5.59% of all posts - (1722 posts)

4.) Dierk Walter - 3.90% of all posts - (1203 posts)

5.) Colin Knox - 2.85% of all posts - (877 posts)

6.) Cliff Seeney - 2.81% of all posts - (866 posts)

7.) Anton Kosyanenko - 2.20% of all posts - (679 posts)

8.) Sir Muddy - 2.16% of all posts - (666 posts) Sir Muddy is the Devil! :mrgreen:

9.) Yann Lamezec - 2.15% of all posts - (664 posts)

10.) Andy Moss - 2.07% of all posts - (638 posts)

So the Prussian Armee owns 17% of the forum... :mrgreen:

What I didn't realize was I passed John Corbin for the #2 spot.... 8)

Top 10 = 12,623 posts out of 30,823 or 41% of all the forum....

Hmmm.....looks like the Hanoverians have been outplayed. Ah, but we are yet young pups. Give us some time and the Germanic wolves will yet make a showing. :twisted:

BTW my dear General Ludwig, unless my math is in error, 12,623/30,823 = 41% of all of the forum posts. :shock:

Quality, not quantity, messieurs.

On the quality measure, none stand better than the French.

Measuring the voluminous, copious and otherwise excruciating amounts of superfluous dialog issued forth by certain offiziers, well, let's just say that it is what it is.

Ah, Napoleon, that rare combination of both quantity and quality.

The bulletins of the Grande Armee are a fascinating study in managing the message, one that modern leaders continue to struggle with.

As to the Pats, I'd be upset if the Jets had beaten the Patriots as opposed to the jv high school team that actually took the field in the playoffs. Besides, around these parts, there is one phrase we never get tired of, regardless of the sport, "There's always next year."

Only when there is some great knowledge to help move this club along is when I do my series such as who was your Hero at Austerlitz! Without a doubt it was the almost dual between Lannes and Soult, which in my mind would have change history!
