König Friedrich Wilhelm III stood on the steps of Sanssouci Palace in Potsdam on a bright sunny Prussian spring day. The Great Generalfeldmarschall Stefan GroßPrinz Reuter von Wahlstadt (Oberbefehlshaber der Preußischen Armee) and General der Infanterie Scott Kronprinz "Vorwärts" Ludvig von Preußen (Generalquartiermeister der Preußischen Armee) stood next to him. Prime Minister Hardenberg and Scharnhorst stood behind them. Kronprinz Ludvig stepped forward to the crowd of thousands, with the foreign ministers of Russia, Austria & the Netherlands, Belgium, Nassau, Brunswick, Hanover & Britain at the front. He spoke in a booming, Teutonic voice..... .....Any Allied Coalition Officer, from this day forward, who defeats a French Maréchal, Général or Général de Division, Général de Brigade in battle, while defending Prussia, shall be awarded the: Alliierten Koalition Verteidigung Medaille I. Klasse: (Allied Coalition Defense Medal 1st Class) ![]() This is to recognize that they have led Prussian Armee forces in to battle & have led them to victory! By Order of König Friedrich Wilhelm III von Preußen and in the Honor of Friedrich der Große. 20.4.1813 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Fine Print: Can be awarded to any Coalition Officer who beats a French Maréchal, Général Général de Division or Général de Brigade at either a Major or Minor Victory. Has to be a scenario that includes Prussian Troops from one of these game systems: Battleground or Matrix Prelude to Waterloo and Waterloo HPS Waterloo, Jena, Leipzig & Campaign 1814 HistWar Games played with Prussian Troops Commander: Napoleon at War 1806, 1813, 1814, 1815 AGEOD Napoleon's Campaign 1806, 1813, 1814, 1815 Crown of Glory: Awarded to the Prussian Player if they are the winner of the game. NIR Project 1806 War with Prussia, 1813 Wars of Liberation, 1814 Invasion of France and 1815 Belgium Cobexlaw Volume 1 Prussia, Volume 4 Saxe and Volume 5 100 Days 1815 NIA Liepzig, Napoleon in Prussia and Ultimate Waterloo No turn length required. CiC or his representative must file on your behalf with game # and scenario # and/or name. Eligibility is based on this day & moving forward. Games currently in play previous to this day will still qualify. Games completed prior to today are excluded. |

So, after reading the fine print, I surmise that you're basically saying that you won't be handing any of these medals out? ![]() Cheers! |

Likewise By Order of König Friedrich Wilhelm III von Preußen and in the Honor of Friedrich der Große, Der Preußische Generalstab will award any Allied Coalition Officer, from this day forward, who defeats a French Colonel, Lieutenant Colonel, Chef de Battalion/Chef d'Escadron, Captain or Lieutenant in battle, while defending Prussia, shall be awarded the: Alliierten Koalition Verteidigung Medaille II. Bardon again! I thought he was the quiet, Frenchie garlic chewing type! Guess he is more like the Allied loud mouthed talking type! ![]() Better get those medals ready Scott. Think I have one coming soon. |

Well I see that the ranks of the Prussi armee most be small I got to play Bill ! Wow was that a game (trying not to laugh). Oui I did lose and why not look at the amount of points the French had to get to win now if it was a 30/40 % like all my table top games he would not had won. But that's pass were are your young warriors any way???? |
