It had all been arranged. Pistols at dawn. Herr Peters and Herr Knox stood back to back the morning mist casting an eerie hue on the scene. The seconds were in their place. Herr Ludwig prepared to give the word for the two to begin their 10 paces ...

A coach pulls up near the duel site. All eyes are on the coach. Out of the coach steps Le Turdu in his usual grey greatcoat. "Monsieur Knox, a moment ...."

This is most unusual but not unexpected. It turns out that Napoleon has urgent matters for Herr Knox and he must return to the city. He nods at Herr Peters, "You were lucky," who replies, "Don't bet on it!

Duty calls and Herr Knox must attend to other matters but for a moment I almost had an Austerlitz game with him!

Take your time Colin and after your Allied opponent has whupped up on you come by for some fine lemonade and tell me your woes as we setup the game! :D
