News flash from Paris - it appears that General de Brigade Colin "Fancy Pants" Knox has married into the Bonaparte family. Here is a surprise photo of the couples wedding! ![]() As you can see the wedding was performed outdoors in an undisclosed (very arid) location. Rumor has it that the couple were in Alexandria, Egypt. Others say Acre - Napoleon giving the city to the couple as a wedding present. Irma Bonaparte felt destined to be an "old maid" but the family always gave her the best support. The couple opted for a private wedding as the bride is very shy and does not like large crowds. A small gathering of family and intimate friends attended. ![]() ![]() The couple has not revealed their choice of honeymoon location though it is rumored that the isle of Rhodes may be on their itinerary. Others think that Majorca may also be one of the locations they have chosen. The Royal Navy is cooperating in the manner and supplying a "Bridal Galleon" for their use. ![]() Such a thrilling event! And all brought to you by our fine media organization, the first to bring you this breaking story! ![]() |

In Australia everyone was waiting for the satirical commentary on the Royal Wedding by a crew called the Chaser which was to be broadcast by the Australia Broadcasting Corporation (ex-Commission) on a digital channel alongside their 'straight' coverage on the main channel. Alas, the Windsors have made it a condition of any telecast rights that they cannot be used for satirical purposes, among other things. Happy to take our taxes but not happy for us to have an opinion about it. How times change, or does that sound just so typical of English royalty? *And THAT's why Russians don't trust those puffed-up shopkeepers any more than the skirt-chasing French! Actually, maybe the English are defending the scottish and their kilts from the French and that's why they're in-between the too? I've only seen Cossacks wear dresses as a joke after looting a French village. But those scots seem serious about how they taunt the French! Hmmmm* |
