Sorry to be such a dofus, but I cannot figure out how to confirm a battle. I have tried three different browsers, but none of them displays a "confirm" button. Help?

When you click on the Battles list you do not see a View, Confirm or anything like that to the right of each?

That's correct. Nothing like that appears.

After you choose the battle type & name, you have to add each player one at a time and click "add" with each player, then that will open up a bottom section for comments et al and you click the "add" there and it will register the game.

You might have to do the "add" button at the top part with the scenario info.

Tony, listen to Scott, for he truly is a genius. Well, at least I consider him a genius. I have an IQ of about 53 myself, so a lot of people rank in that category as far as I am concerned. :? :? :?

Now, tell me Tony and Stefan, in what armies are you seeking a commission. I have seen several new French cadets posting lately and must admit to being a little nervous at the moment.

However, you are all using the forum and I personally think that is ....... GREAT!!!!!

i have been adding the names. i type in the player names which is fine because they appear but theres no comment box you speak of. if i click add a 2nd time an officer box appears which i assume is for something different than 1v1.

im in the french army so my email tells me. :)

I am not aware of others having this particular issue, but everyone does register their battles. Our DoR System is well automated now and, without the log ins, we could not keep track of the officer's records.

Are you still having problems? I am not sure I can really look very far into the Games Registration System without actually registerin a game myself, but I will drop over there and see if I can figure out the last problem you were having.

Tony, these are the steps I followed:

1.) Type of Battle - Place Cursor in Box; Wait for Options to Appear; Select Fight or Manuever as Appropriate
2.) Name of Scenario - Type in the first letters of the actual scenario title; Options should appear; Select appropriate scenario name.
3.) Officer 1 - Type in name of officer; Options should appear; Select proper officer; Hit the "Add" icon to the right of the name; A second box will appear under the name you just typed; Ignore it; Go to next officer box below it.
4.) Officer 2 - Same procedure as Officer 1.

Try this if you have not already, and let me know what happens.

Mark,

You can use me as a test dummy for registering a game and then we'll have Dominik delete it....
