You see, Herr General, killing Frenchmen does have its rewards beyond the great satisfaction that it provides and the restoration of the proper balance of the universe. 8)

Scott was waiting for you to make the announcement. You are our official Prussian PR man now! LOL

Scott put out a VERY nice looking newsletter over the weekend and I am sure he will be sounding out the other promotions as well. I will keep them secret as I do not want to steal his thunder.

I will humbly submit that making the GM rank in the Prussian army IS due to the points for it being less and submit to my superiors in the army who have put in more time in this present version of the army than I. I honestly do not feel that I have earned my place on the General Staff yet and need to contribute something in some way to help out.

Hey! How about a new game! LOL

(ok, where is my buddy that hates when I do this ...)

Honestly I would love to add in some historical dialog on the Prussian army ... maybe a series of articles ... Part 1 and so on.

But Major Victories never hurt either ... got one coming soon for our cause. (er, and a Major Defeat which I will post today as well)

Yes there has been a lot of movement in the Prussian Armee lately. I have not had time to post about the Newsletter, but will post the link soon. :D

Mark - you ARE now the official Prussian PR man... :lol: Along with Bill of course.... :wink:

Bil did earn his promotion let us not doubt that. He has been busy gaming and getting awards and honors, like a few other fellahs. In fact Bill I still owe you some emails.... :)

But the General Staff, does not consists of all the General's in the Armee, otherwise, over 80% of the Armee would be on it....it is the command of the Armee, historically, Blucher, Gneisenau, Scharnhorst, Muffling, Mullendorf....with in the Club it has historically been Stefan as the Commander and whoever is the General Quarter Master, myself currently. I did expand it some years back, but never added anyone until just this past month we added Jerry Butley as the Army Chief of Staff. More or less they are honors for members who go above and beyond the call of duty, involved in the Armee and there isn't an exact slot to fill them in. Stefan more or less consults with me and now Jerry, when he needs to and I just plug away at the daily business.

All that crap aside, Bill, it would be great to fill out historical write ups about the units, like how Dallas Gavan did years ago, or interviews like Rob Hamper did or whatever you think would be fun to fill out the library a little. It could even be game related too.....a good way to get extra points....

But yeah! A Major Victory.... :mrgreen: Can always use those....

I am now the official PR man for the Prussian Army along with Bill??? Crap! How did I manage that one? I still owe Marco a bunch of write ups on medal awards. I guess, as a Hanoverian, at least I do speak German. Now Marco is certain to add a very long laundry list to my duties just to be absolutely certain that I will not have any time to stray. :shock:

Hey, I just happen to pay attention. Everybody's medals, everybody's promotions, everybody's victories (well, except for the extremely rare French victories) are important to me. I like seeing officers advancing their careers (except of course for the French officers - See previous comment). :!: :wink: :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I cannot wear one of those Prussian Blue coats. They are much too hot in the summer sun. Same goes for my poor Brunswick bretheren. Besides, these red coats don't show blood nearly as badly when you are opposed by Frenchman like Bardon and Knox! :P
