is there something tricky that must be done to use the HPS games with vista. I have been able to install but am having trouble with the up dates. |

I have also discovered that I can open a scenario or campaign like play by mail and when I go to attach a file to an email the game file is not there. I soon will be forced to shoot my computer |

I think if you reinstall somewhere other then under the Program Files folder you'll be alright. If you go to the HPS website there is a list of things to do. I found if I just went in, right clicked on the game folders, and changed the sharing on the game folders, it runs without any problem. I think I had to take off the read only so I could update with the patches. |

For Windows 7 HPS HELP: http://www.hpssims.com/vistahelp.htm For updates, make sure you change the DEFAULT PATH to the path that you use, like c:/games/campaign waterloo or whatever your path is. It is also a GOOD idea to place the update file in the game folder. |
