History of French regt. at Jena 1806 IV Corps; I div commander Gen de div Louis de Saint-Hilaire 7497 troopers 1st Brig; Gen de Brig Jacques de Candras 1 and 2nd Bns 10th eme d’ inf Legere History; ancestors; RLdeLi Foix # 83 and Chasseurs Des Ardennes Rasied on 13September 1684 by the Marquis de Blainville, Jules Armand Colbert divided in 1775. Colonels 1784 Vicomte de La Roche- Aymon and Marie Guillaume ; 1792 Chevalier de Bouan and Jean Baptiste de Chef du Bos; 1792 De Champolion. Severed in Lafayette’s army 1792. Ambushed and defeated at Florennes 1792 1er Bn sent to the Sedan the 2erBn to Cambrai. 1793-95 Joined by a 3Bn called Republicaine Paris 1796 1805 Cpl Baylin and Carabinier Charpentier took an Austrian colour. ChBn Simenon killed Col Pouzet wounded at Austerlitz . 1 and 2nd Bns 35th eme d’ inf Ligne History; ancestors; RLdeLi Beauvoisis # 57 Rasied 1667 by the Comte de Jonzac. Seven out of fourteen Regt in IV Corps were name Regts that would make the IV a Elite Corps in 1806. |
