My new station with the Russian Army must be in Siberia, I've not heard from anyone since joining up! *Sigh* |

It is the NWC command format. See no evil, hear no evil, send no email! ![]() Or maybe they saw you coming and ducked for cover! (dont you wish that the dogs would do that when you came to deliver the mail - I hope you have your "pet rock" handy ... friend of mine used to carry one when he ran in the afternoon) |

They are all busy hiding their silver and horses first as evidently the reputation of people from Oklahoma has preceded you. ![]() ![]() |

Now if you recall, Al, I did offer you a posting in Sunny Hanover, the vacation spot of Europe. ![]() ![]() ![]() I do admit that we Hanoverians are well known for being dour, taciturn, shy, bashful and reclusive, so you might not have heard nary a peep out of us either............being as quiet as we are, and all. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Ah ha, so our clever ruse worked! You see, Al, we, switched out the map to your new billet as a little going away present from all your erstwhile compatriots in the Grande Armee. A few wrong turns in the trackless steppes on your way to Moscow et voila, Siberia! |

It's simply the harvest time. Everyone are in the fields. Suggest you to enjoy the marvelous views of Golden Autumn. Seriously, it's very hard time at work. Up to 14 hours a day (16 if you add up time to get to work and back), 7 days a week. It's now in crescendo state with two business trips within a week. I have an interesting idea to discuss with you. Planned to write when the rush is over (i.e. by the weekend). |

Anton, Totally understand. The different time zones doesn't help either. Do they need mailmen in Minsk? ![]() |

"I have an interesting idea to discuss with you. Planned to write when the rush is over (i.e. by the weekend)." Al - he wants to know how many reindeer you will require to pull your carriage this winter for postal delivery in Siberia! (and hang in there Anton, I hope you get some time off soon!) |

Ed, it sounds like the East Coast of the US is about to get snowed in during October as well! ![]() Crazy weather this year. |

Denver and that area got hit already. I am not looking forward to ANY snow here in Boise but yes, it will come here too. Usually we only get about 3 storms that leave any snow on the ground but if it stays very cold it takes some time for it to melt. Bring on La Nina I guess from what they are saying. |

A couple of inches fell yesterday around my area, and it looks like New England is getting more tomorrow, 1/2 a foot or more in parts. I expect to get slightly less than that. Should make for a fun Halloween. The kids have had to negotiate rain before, but rarely has there been snow on the ground. Although compared to your new quarters in Siberia, this would seem like summer. ![]() |

BTW, I'm going trick-or-treating as a Polar Bear gone Postal, so the white stuff will be helpful. ![]() |
