Announcing recent changes in command in La Grande Armee.

III Corps

Congratulations to General Dominik Derwinski, new commanding officer of III Corps. Gen. Derwinski is also an officer of La Grande Armee Headquarters staff, titled as Grand Maréchal du Palais de la Maison de l'Empereur for his duties maintaining the Department of Records.

Congratulations to Comte de Toulon et Duc de Nimes, General de Division David Guegan for assuming command of 2nd Division of III Corps. Gen. Guegan is a veteran and was a leader in the former AdN III Corps.

Many thanks to Marechal Zbyszek Pietras for all of his time and effort spent as CO of III Corps. We are happy to say that Zbyszek is taking command of 2nd Brigade of 2nd Division so he will still be around as an officer of III Corps.

Cavalry Reserve

It is my pleasure to announce that Colonel Christophe Boucheron is the new commanding officer of Cavalry Reserve. Col. Boucheron comes over from I Corps where he performed excellent service as division commander. Col. Boucheron has also qualified for the Imperial Guard and is waiting for his title and assigned command there.

Marechal Bill Peterson, who has been a fixture at the head of the French Cavalry and who has many duties as an officer of La Grande Armee, has decided to relinquish his command of Cavalry Reserve. He will still serve in his capacity as Commandant of the Imperial Guard and maintain the excellent web site for Cavalry Reserve.

Marechal Peterson remains an officer of Cavalry reserve, assigned to 1er Brigade of 2nd Dragoon Division. Lt. Col. Worland, former CoS, is assigned to 2eme Brigade of 2nd Dragoon Division.

V Corps

Congratulations to Lieutenant Abhinav Chaliha, the new commanding officer of 3rd Division of V Corps. In his contacts with leaders of La Grande Armee, Lt. Chaliha has shown enthusiasm and energy that he can now put to work for the benefit of 3rd Division and V Corps.

General de Brigade Marc Delaplace, due to real life commitments, has been reassigned at his request, to command of 1st Brigade of 3rd Division. Our thanks to Marc for his leadership and good service on behalf of V Corps.
