Fellow Men-in-Arms,

I am curious where my electronic Generals (or opponents for that matter) are located throughout the United States and throughout the world?

I personally live in the South central part of the Connecticut, near New Haven. I was born in Hartford CT though.

Any other CT's out there? or New Englanders? 8)

Ernie Sands lives in New England too. So does Paco Palomo.

I live in Boise, Idaho. Its an extension of New England in that we rebel against any tax in existence.

GO BSU! Oh yes and USC, Kansas City Chiefs and LA Angels. I like Bruin basketball too. UCLA Bruins that is!

I am a Chicago Blackhawks fan. Love hockey. Would have season tickets and a parka if I could afford them. Man those hockey games are cold! Watched a league game that my friend played in and no wonder the stadium is packed! You need plenty of warm bods around you.

I am a Southern boy myself, born and raised in Nashville, Tennessee. I was transferred to Atlanta, Georgia almost eleven years ago now in relation to my job. I like all kinds of sports, but rarely have time to watch them. I attended college at a small school with no football team, Tennessee Tech, and graduated with a degree in Civil Engineering in 1984 (yes, that was before you were even born....who are you callin' old?). I have been reading military history since almost the time I first learned to read. I have been playing wargames since I was a teenager. I am a broad spectrum gamer ranging from historical to science fiction to fantasy to role playing. The only games I play now are the Napoleonic games in this club, although my role playing experience shows in many of my posts as the facetious Hanoverian officer that I portray for the entertainment of others. I cheat at cards, like fast cars, and even faster women, well, I used to anyway. I always tell the truth, except when I am lying and you should never take me seriously unless you just want to be disappointed for the day.

Wellington (yes Wellington Sir Muddy) New Zealand.
Our local train station is even Waterloo. To the south is the small port city of Picton west of it is Nelson and south of it it is Blenheim the provincial capital of Marlborough.

A Frenchman in this most English of place names. My favourite nearby street is called Maadi place.

Yes, Jim, that would be me.

If you like what you see, how about a date?   (Just kidding of course, I'm married.)

By way of explanation, Fred and I had been playing in a game together, so I wasn't my normal, laconic self in my reply. :P :P :P

Neerpelt, Belgium !

But originally I am from the Netherlands.

Around 60 minutes from the Waterloo battlefield where my grand grand father was actually present with the Dutch 8th militia, and survived the day.

More things I do; running a Prince Valiant fanclub; http://www.princevaliant.net/
Collecting 1:72 plastic soldiers (one of the biggest collections worldwide, 60.000 soldiers), table top wargaming with Napoleonics ofcourse, doing research and write a book about my grand-grand father (check http://www.8militia.net/), active member of a speedcycling club...and far less serious things with my own company in Forest & Nature management.
