Formation of 1813 Befreiungskriege (Wars of Liberation) Armee-Korps

It was a bright and sunny day on the steps of Sanssouci, as the König stood to watch. The Great Generalfeldmarschall Stefan GroßPrinz Reuter von Wahlstadt stood next to him as they were reviewing the new recruits fresh for the 1813 Campaigns against France. The Generalfeldmarschall thought to himself, "what will we do with all these men?" Little did he know that his trusty aid, General der Infanterie Scott Kronprinz "Vorwärts" Ludwig von Preußen had a plan already.

The Prussian Armee is proud to announce the formation of a new Corps to fight against France.

The 1813 Befreiungskriege (Wars of Liberation) Armee-Korps

Dedicated solely to some famous units of the 1813/14 Campaigns. We are sure in time we shall have recruits flocking to these fine and famous units!

Thanks Bill! :mrgreen: I always prefer an open OOB, but have been not able to do so. I figure this was a good excuse to open a second one... 8)

I concur.

1) Enjoy the new formation, particularly the Freikorps and Leibhusaren.
2) More recruits means, more Prussians to vanquish :mrgreen:

I had a lot of fun playing 1813 with the old games hope this is as good as the one we got for free!

That old add on game had the French in a central position and the allies trying to move ole Boney off the spot with the young guard all around him and the Poles am sure no Allied numbers will beat him in this game. Now if you could make the Huns run back to that Ole fart then you might get a win out of it! :lol:

While I can see clearly now old mouth of the North comes out of hiding and little Prussi change sides to make another game that the Emperor lost! Now you should have done the Polish wars to even the playing field now we French players have to fight up hill Vie France!

Ahhhh the poor unfortunate French....being forced to fight up hill,what a shame !! Your Emperor and his quest to defeat mother nature and the Russians at the same time has put you in the position you are in this fine day. Then there is Blucher the crazy old Huzzar, pregnant with an elephant commanding the army of the lower Rhine arguably the worst army Prussia had put into the field who if not for Wellington and the politics of the day would probably have erased France from the map of Europe in 1815.

Oh the French actually are scared that their battle records might take a hit.... :mrgreen:

The Army of the Lower Rhine btw wasn't the end of the world....the leadership was good.... :D

But the little Orge's quest for control and dominance mixed with paranoia was no match for Europe's TRUE powers....
