Gentlemen Officers of All Armies: It is with the greatest pleasure that I announce to you today the promotion of one of my Brunswick bretheren, Zafer Ejder, to the become the newest Lieutenant Colonel in the Anglo-Allied Army. Also, the promotion of the commander of our newly formed Spanish Brigade, Vincent Maddis, to the rank of Major. Please join me and raise your glasses in a toast to these two fine and deserving men. Thank you Genghis. The picture is of a Grenadier battalion assaulting a French guard artillery battery at the battle of Medina de Rioseco. It's by Dionisio Álvarez Cueto an artist who specializes in Napoleonic artwork. |
