Just a reminder (really for the entire series) for strengths in Leipzig: artillery is counted as 1 gun = 1 man and not 1 gun = 25 men or something like that. Thus what we end up getting is lower numbers for the historical orgs. Thus if you see an org that you think should have 5000 men (for instance) but only has 4500 in the game that is because it has about 400+ gunners and supply personnel. Manpower figures for orgs in books is often based on total personnel which can include band members as well. |
