I put this one together while working on Campaign Leipzig. Poor Warren Bajan has had to endure my "tunes" now for over 2 years ...

Going Back to Lutzen (sung to the tune of the old Dean Martin classic "Houston")

Well it's lonesome in Germany,
Everybody thinks I'm mean,
My stomach's got a mean ole pain,
As I'm a walkin' in the rain,
I'm going back to Lutzen, Lutzen, Lutzen.

I got cavalry problems galore,
And Ney cant beat Blucher anymore,
Saw a hussar regiment yesterday,
But the cossacks ran it away,
Getting back soon to Lutzen, Lutzen, Lutzen.

My men haven't eaten in about a week,
They're so hungry when they walk they squeak,
Nobody calls them friend,
And it's sad the shape that they're in,
They're runnin' away to Lutzen, Lutzen, Lutzen.

I got some conscripts in last week,
And they all say Vive to me,
I got the Guard and the ole Big Boots,
But a bunyon's hurtin' my foot,
