While I cannot say WHAT the title will be I will say that I have finished work on the initial run of the historical and what-if scenarios for one of my titles and that the first campaign is finished. I will not say the exact date I hope we can get the game out but we are close.

Playtesting is just about over and for the first time in a game I am using a PDF file that will have scenario rules and in one case a VP tracking chart. I just did not feel that the game engine could adequately determine victory for one of them and in another rules had to be laid down that would allow a semi-historical path (lack of intel for one side).

Like all of the titles this one was very challenging, perhaps more than most. I believe that you guys will enjoy playing it as much as the guys did that playtested it. I pulled my entire team in to help out. I started the project in June of last year ... its the fastest I have ever done a project AND that includes working on Leipzig too as well as other projects and updates for games already on the market.

After this I have two more titles to work on. One of them is VERY mature but would need the artwork team for a couple of months and I do not believe that that is going to happen anytime soon. The other will be in full swing as soon as this next one is done and is very mature as well.

So none of them are starting from scratch and I should have at least one more game coming out this year and hey, if I get lucky and get the Graphics Team well then TWO games.

And yes, I know, "I have not even played everything in Austerlitz and Leipzig, Bill."

I hear ya. Me too!

I have yet to play everything that is in ECKMUHL! Go figure.

I well know about the title to which General Peters is referring. I seem to recall Field Marshall Blackburn dilligently chasing me all over the fields of........well....ahem, I'm not at liberty to say. I do remember that he had an English riding crop in one hand and kept yelling something about, "Where are those ****** cigars you promised me, you miserable excuse for a Staff Officer! Why if I ever get my hands on you....." Fortunately for me, he never did.

Sheesh Mark, you gave the project away (with the reference to cigars)!

Now they know that Ed is playing the Castro side and you are Teddy Roosevelt (I always get my history mixed up)!

Ok - next game is "Campaign Habana" and John is handing our free boxes of cigars if you buy five copies.

Napoleon and Teddy vs. Castro and the Tsar. The Tsar has shipped Cossacks to Cuba and Teddy wants them removed. The Tsar says "We shall bury them" so Napoleon invades Russia again.

Yes, its an Alternate History title much like Sealion '40 (well, with some historical liberties taken ...).

The final goal is to liberate Tulsa from the US Post Office and place French couriers in the town to deliver the mail. Mais oui!!! :P
