I heard some French member crying the blues one day about how his opponent had left some units behind and had ambushed his troops as they marched by. Well folks that just too bad and frankly after all of the years of gazillion French skirmishers floating around doing unhistorical things - just live with it Junior!

(brought to you by the Committee to exile cry babies to St. Helena or Devil's Island)

Wow! Might as well cry because your opponent toggled 'charge' for some cavalry units that caught an infantry battalion in column instead of square. Or was it the opponent who fired his artillery on a hex with a stack of battalions in it, doing damage to all of them - Whah!
Hmm, this could be just case(s) of war! Definitely have to learn to live with it.

I only cry about my stupid mistakes, not the brilliance of my enemy! So please do not save a room for me at St Helena or Devil's Island.

So, Battle On!

Wait a minute! There was an ambush on marching soldiers?!?! But that was the Frenchman's lines of communication! Now I see the problem. Everyone knows that only Napoleon is allowed to maneuver vs the opponent's LOC.

Bill I think we should have a house rule against good play. Perhaps you could suggest this to your opponent  .
