Wooo-hooo! I updated my Leipzig game today. All of my Prussian and Russian units became A++ morale and all of my French units became D morale. Man, do I like this update! I cannot hardly wait until all the French officers get their games updated, then we can really play! ![]() ![]() ![]() Hey, I am German (at least my officer persona is) and from the South! ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Mark - you should have joined the Bavarian army. You are a Georgian Reb in King George's Court! (play on words with the old book title) |

Cezary Pluskwa wrote: Hello Gentlemen, I have the Campaign of Leipzig . ![]() I never heard of that name . Can it be improved? ![]() Yes, for the next update ... probably in a couple of years! ![]() I will update the map today and also find where the name is used in other files and change it. All for the NEXT update. Wish you had seen this earlier. Like LAST week! LOL Added by edit .... Just noted that the map file name is Brunzlau so that will have to stay as otherwise it screws things up. But the map tag will get changed. Found the name "Brunzlau" in 10 scenarios - all in the Silesian campaign (HTH and Solo). Easy fixes. |

I noted that somehow a scenario file got put into the Silesian-Solo folder. Ignore it if you see it. The file was also put in the main folder where it belongs. They are the same file and the main folder of the game does have the right version. The file name is: z_M15-077_Leipzig_Solo.scn And probably if I hadn't of mentioned it no one would have seen it. But just in case Mark Jones starts wandering through the folders .... ![]() |

Looking forward to more later tonight as well. Ah, what a rapid learning curve I am on. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Hello again, Finally, look at old maps of Bolesławiec and the surrounding area, of course, historical maps, names in German. http://bunzlau.pl/mapy/mapy.html And another page, simply click on an interesting square,ex. box 4759.This's Bunzlau of 1945. http://mapy.amzp.pl/tk25.cgi?35,61,50,81 Bill Peters wrote: Wish you had seen this earlier. Thanks for buying our games and I hope you have many many victories over Mark Jones! ![]() Note: if the spelling bothers you then you actually can open the map file in a text editor and change the name. Just do not change any other data. Changing the spelling and format (size, placement, type) of the Map tags, I have found out, does not disrupt the map file. I have my own version of the large "Belgium" map that comes with Waterloo. My version of the Belgium map has the map tags larger and without the +/- that you see in the stock version. So if you want to go into the map file and just change the name go ahead. I use Word Pad to edit the files and it worked fine. Just do not add in any new lines. And copy the map file first before you do this. |

Other maps of 1745 and 1761 confirm this. Bunzlau is more to the times of World War I and World War II. I do not know when, how and whether it had officially changed at all. |
