What brand of metal casting do you use: 1. Old Glory 2. Calpe 3. Minifigs 4. Essex 5. Other One of my brigade members, David Stotsenburgh is looking to paint some cavalry (Prussian of course) in 28mm. I love the Calpe miniature castings - but a bit pricey for him maybe. Please - no plastic recommendations ... I have not painted in years. What is the dif. between painting on the pewter castings and the old lead castings (that I had when I was much younger)? Do you get as good of a paint coating? Better? Is pewter more expensive than lead? I do not miss the days of lead all over my hands .... |
