Dani, On the battlefield itself there are three museums: -in Slawkow castle in the town itself. -a smallish one about the northern part of the battle around Posoritz posthouse. -central museum on top the Pratzen heights and the Monument. We were early in January and didn't manage to get into any one of them. First being closed, second aside the route and to the third we arrived already too late. But experience of walking in the dense fog along the route of allied columns was unforgettable! As if french columns will suddenly appear a hundred steps from you. So I'd suggest to simply walk around the field. It's very picturesque itself. Enjoy! |
