Any offers on the most one sided scn in each game, you may offer two from one game.

Wow, no responses in nearly a week. Well, since the good Field Marshal outranks me (and also happens to be pointing a loaded pistol in my direction), I will take a stab at this.

I can't narrow this one down to two as I'm pretty sure just about every scenario I've ever played was heavily weighted towards the French! :lol:

Well, at the least, Raab from Wagram. Real tough for the Austrians to beat a patient French commander.

And Mockern for Leipzig- much the same. Unless the French run away from turn one, a patient Prussian will win.

Well, :? Mark how did you get 17 MV if the games are heavily towards the French, which they should be it wasn't till 1809 that the Grand Armee started to slip and be on equal ground with the Allies.

Mark have you only played Waterloo? There are plenty of balanced scenarios I think. I have played both sides in many.
I even played Jena-Auerstedt vs Marechal Bardon and managed a minor victory.

Can't all be bad sounds like the usual coalition excuses (Just kidding) :mrgreen:

There is a scenario in Wagram I believe where the French have to cross a defended bridge leading into a town. Pretty difficult for the French.

Well I'm sure some would think it really might be my ability rather then the scenario and I considered that but after several Hedonaters I decided it must be the scenarios. :P

I am playing Marechal Bardon in a pretty well balanced Leipzig scenario at the moment. Every turn we are beating the zognorts out of each other....... well, let's just say it can be a rather brutal experience. :shock: :shock: :shock:

I honestly cannot tell you who is going to win. Obviously the officer with the last man left, but the way things are going, the last two fellows may actually just kill each other at the same time. :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

I have to admit that there are many more scenarios that I have never played, than ones I actually have played. I have not come across any that were ever offered that were severely balanced against the French. They somehow never seem to be placed on the table for consideration by my French opponents, if you can imagine that. :evil: :evil: :evil:

Somebody point me to a specific scenario that is balanced against the French player. I would like to see what one looks like. :o :o :o

I must say The Battle of Hanau from Leipzig heavily favors the French. My opponent Olivier Bianchi also agreed. I took a beating as the Austrians. I lasted about halfway of a 48 turn scenario. Austrians are underpowered and have to hold the city against heavy French forces with too much time (too many turns) in my opinion. We still had fun though!!

Plenty of close ones in NRC and Austerlitz as well. It's HPS Waterloo that tends to favour france. Which I recall is the most popular title.

In Jena consider the Auerstedt scenarios. In Leipzig there are plenty that favour the allieds. I don't have 1814 yet but I would imagine most of those favour the allieds.

I would suggest the Leipzig battle we played favours the allies does if the allied player knows what he is doing.
The French guard is awesome but the allied army is quality everywhere and very powerful. It's just not in central position and requires manuever and patience.

As I said to even the twin battles of Jena Auerstedt are not as bad as allied players complain about. I agree it leans towards France but you have to love that Prussian cavalry (I do and have). Tomasz Nowacki a famous French Marechal who is no longer active and former MOE champion always preferred to play Prussians in this title due to their cavalry.

He and I had an epic game of Karlsburg.

I personally think the 'Favours French syndrome' is a myth if you exclude HPS Waterloo - I have played both sides in many scenarios with good results.
