Fellow Commanders in Arms,

I noticed that as of yesterday, October 19th, Wagram has officially been updated to version 1.09 via the HPS website (HPSSIMS.com). With this new version, among other changes, the actual CD is no longer needed to play the game, which I find to be quite convenient. Be aware, after updating to version 1.09 all your graphic mods get set back to default. So you will need to reinstall as necessary.

Regards.

I did have a few email conversations with a JTS person who did inform they have 2 new Napoleonic games in the works, but I believe this was covered before. I was unable to ascertain when they will be available.

So I guess we will wait for updates on the old and wait on the new ones as well, but we seem to still do a lot of fighting and battling none the less.....

Battle On....

Thanks for the update Wagram - I will download the update now.

The one thing with the JTS versions ( 1813 and 1814 ) unless you have a really good video card the 3D graphics are difficult (I find I play most of the Game in 2 D and swirtch to 3D when Battle is about to begin).

I play most of my games on my laptop ( so you are stuck with the video cvard that comes with the laptop ( or so I am told) or on my HP TouchSmart ( where the Screen and CPU are all in one) and I am told you cannot update thoes viedo cards either.

Roy,

Regular upgrades are a huge pain for laptops let alone all in ones. When I got my laptop I splashed out for an independent graphics card....not as easy to change things as a desktop is...
