I am working on getting an old Prussian member back up and running, he is wondering how one goes about playing Network/Direct Play for HPS? If he is able to come back, you French should shake in your boots!  The Great Chimara will have risen again!  Now if I can only get Garret Fitzgerland back again too....wish Andreas Naujoks was still around....the Peacock would be trembling at the sight of these sleeping giants!

Scott, myself and Bill played a game once. It was great fun, it's pretty easy, one side acts as host, you have to know your IP address. The other side just logs on using the built in controls. |

Most excellent news, mein Herr. Most excellent indeed! It is high time the Coalition Armies dominated the battlefields of Europe. It surely lightens my heart to know that the Prussian Army is leading the way driving the defeated rabble of Old Boney's Vieille Gardesmen before it in terrified flight. I have only seen the swords of the French renowned (Bardin, Knox, Paco, et al) while they were being quite effectively wielded against me. It will be a refreshing change to have their weapons handed to me, hilt first, by the outstanding heroes of the Prussian Army so that I may more closely examine the intricate works of their fine manufacture. Join me for a drink, my comrade. Let us toast the ascendency of Prussian arms above all others and a German speaking dominance of Europe! We can pass the time here in the comforts of this fine establishment under the watchful eye, and most impressive bodice, of our beloved Helga while we await the first of your great heroes to arrive with the swords of the vanquished Vieille Garde. To your good health, mein Herr! There is surely nothing like the flames of a shot of Jager to put the fire of conquest in one’s belly!

Scott it is easy and fun. The only issue I ever ran across was the occasional fussy firewall. I did enjoy watching my opponent's troops move in real time much easier to follow the move as sometimes the replay jumps about so much. |

No such possibility perhaps a little shake of the feathers  but only Jeka gets that. Actually I have played Andreas back in 2007 was it, a fine officer. |

I have always wanted to try and play a game this way. I unfortunately do not work a "set" schedule, But if any one was interested we could work something out. Can you save a game under this format? so that one could pick-up the game where it was last left off? |

Kevin another fun aspect is that there is a text box so you can type comments to your opponent while you watch his move play out, quite fun. I would be willing to play you when my travel lightens up. it would have to be a small to medium scenario. i have hosted before so i have no problem playing host. I would just send you my IP address and you would type that into the box and our computers would connect and sync and away we go. |
