Gives you an idea of how linear armies moved about.

In a documentary of the 70's (French TV)... There was a cavalry charge by the Regiment a cheval de la Garde Republican. The last French horse regiment.

The charge at Eylau is part of Le Colonel Chabert a film adaptation of a novel of Balzac

I think it's my favorite charge scene in a movie. The quiet music from Schubert with in the back the rumble of the horses galloping. 8)
