Salute Officers Of the IV Corps,

The IV Corps has 30 of it's 36 officers ready to battle for the Emperor Napoleon and France. Seven of our officers are engaged in battle with coalition forces fighting 19 different battles.

Two detailed battle reports in Pierre's Tavern and say hi to the pretty redhead barmaid.

The IV Corps also had two promotions:

To all who shall see these presents, Greetings. Know ye that reposing special trust and confidence in the abilities of Mssr. Al Kling, we do hereby appoint him to the rank of Colonel, to be given every respect and privilege of that rank and to be subject to and under the orders of L'Empereur.

To all who shall see these presents, Greetings. Know ye that reposing special trust and confidence in the abilities of Mssr. Christophe Sarazin, we do hereby appoint him to the rank of Colonel, to be given every respect and privilege of that rank and to be subject to and under the orders of L'Empereur.

The 2012 SON Tournament MP Division is about to start and needs more French Officers to give battle to the Coalition Forces, so if you are not, please consider joining the fray. Some officers have agreed to give battle in two MP Battles. It would be great if more of the IV Corps Officers would give battle and join in the 2012 SON Tournament.

Regards and of course,

Battle On.....

Colonel Kling

Congratulations to Al and Christophe on their ascendency to Colonelhood! :P :P :P

And by all means the rest of you fine, Frenchies feel free to join us in the MP Division of the 2012 SON Tournament. After all, we Coalition officers don't bite.

Well, Die Ratte does actually bite, but I am pretty sure he doesn't carry rabies. Almost certain.

Thank you, Al, for sharing these promotions with your inveterate foes. I know that goes against the general policy of your army. Very brave of you to do so, sir. Now, I beleive I might know the next pressing question on your mind. That is, "What is it like to actually find yourself staring down the muzzles of a firing squad?" It just so happens that you are in luck, because I well know the feeling first hand. Did I ever tell you about the time when I misplaced the Anglo-Allied Army's supply of booze? Oh, was Marco livid. I don't think I have ever seen a man turn that many shades of red. "Why you incompetent, disrespectful...well, it got much worse.

"I am afraid I cannot tell you the rest of what he said to me in here tonight, Colonel Kling", says the Hanoverian Brigadier as he glances over at a table filled with Prussian officers. "After all, there are children present."

I am happy to say I was given the freedom from command prior to any request to post in the Rhine Tavern.

So there was not fear of a possible firing squad.

Battle On...

Oh, Thanks for the congrats!
