Gentlemen Officers:

While we are toasting the fine accomplishments of our French officers, let us not forget to raise a glass to two fine Hanoverian officers for thier recent promotions as well. Thomas David Phillips will become a Lt. Colonel (just as soon as Generaal Bijl signs the paperwork that I have placed on his desk) and Mike Peccolo has just been promoted to the rank of Major.

In addition, these two officers have been Mentioned in a recent Dispatch from Generaal Bijl to our beloved King George.

Congratulations, gentlemen, you certainly do make your commanding officer very proud!

Congratulations to these fine men. It is important to the French that we are confronted with qualified enemy officers. This augments the honorful duell on the field.
Kindly have a drink of my fine Islay whiskey, which I "picked up" in the Peninsular War :roll: .

The door squeeked open, and a very green officer stumbled into the tavern. :( He really didn't look well. :( He looked about as if he was about to speak, but,... instead he hurtled towards the window and made some rather crude noises :shock: . Finally, turning around and wiping his face upon his sleeve, he seemed well enough to speak :| .... Yes Kinder, der Wurger ist in der Haus. :shock:

'Mein Gott, I think Ich vill stay a landlubber. :shock: Ach, wenn die See ist got der Boat going every which vay, mein stomach ist nichts gut. :oops:

Hmm, perhaps the Tirailleur will have to teach the cat Josephine to play the fiddle :shock:, and accompany the fine warbling :P of the... uh, indisposed Hanoverian Major. :oops:
