Can we just roll it back to how it was?

The font is too small and the text blends into the background and I have 20/20 vision.....it needs white space..... |

Actually it would seems it an issue with IE. The background snow did not display properly on my IE8 browser but fine on Firefox. When the snow has been removed some setting has killed the forum's compatiliblity with IE8. It was 100% fine before.

I agree. I am very near sighted and have to alter the text size in ie 9 to read comfortably. How can we go about getting this resolved? |

Pierre is the one who changed it to make it snow. I am sure he can restore it to what it was previously. I could do it as well, but I don't have a copy of the previous source code. I will send Pierre an email. He may not be aware of this residual problem. |

thanks Mark and Pierre as a guy who deals with IE8 issues all the time in my professional career I certainly understand this is an easy thing to happen thanks for sorting!! As always I very much appreciate the efforts of our volunteers.Helga drinks here please |

Pierre uses Firefox and just did not see the residual effect.  Hey, it seems to be warming up in here now. Thanks, Pierre, my feet were getting cold.  Reminds you of the Beresina River, eh, Colin. Oh, that's right, you haven't gotten that far yet. Well, let's give it another three years. Here's a hot toddy for you my friend. Better save up, just in case.
