Our club websites have been down over the last few days due to an attempt by others to steal our domain name. It took Alex several days to convince the rather bureaucratic agency in Switzerland that he was the rightful owner of the domain and then another for them to restore our service. A huge thanks to Alex for getting us back online! And thanks to all of you for your patience during the outage.

Yes, a big thank you to Alex for working so hard and fast on this issue. We all owe him thanks for his efforts in this matter, and for everything he provides for our entertainment purposes. It is too bad something like this happened, and I imagine that it made people realize how lucky we are to have this and other sites for our gaming pleasures. But our fun is based on the hard work of others, people like Alex, the Cabinet, the Army commanders, and everyone else that contributes to upkeep of the various websites, etc. Thank you one and all! Now, if Alex is forming a posse to track down the nefarious bloke(s) that attempted this dastardly deed, count this Tirailleur in! Regards, |

I admire your bravery, General Schmidgall, but I fear that we merry band of brothers might be a bit outnumbered. According to the Swiss newspapers, the likely perpetrator was China.

Thanks Alex for getting our website back up! I think we can expect more issues like this in the future from China. They are attacking businesses, banks and governments all of the world! Battle On... |
