Post subject:  LGA - V Corps Change of Command
It is with great pleasure that I announce a change of command for V Corps.

After a wonderful time as commanding officer of V Corps, General Dejan Zupancic is stepping down due to real life pressures.

Effective this date, Colonel Roy Purcell is assuming command of V Corps. With the assumption of this command

General Dejan Zupancic is hereby assigned to command of 3eme Brigade of 1ere Division of V Corps.

Good luck to both officers on thier new commands

Congratulations Roy! You will be a fine Commander of V Corps, in the honored tradition stretching back from General Dupancic, to General Lauriston, to the most esteemed, Marechal Lannes.

Now, let us retrieve some of those barrels of spirits that the Hanoverian's are trying to abscond with.

Thank you gentlemen - for the kind words and well wishes - Olga - the bar is open on my tab tonight ( psst Olga - as to the cases loaded on the fine Hanoverian's supply wagon please substitute the watered down brandy in place of my fine cognac - after a few of their magic brews they loose all taste sensations so it would be waste of fine alcohol ).

Best wishes on the occasion of promotion and take command of the V Corps. I'm running already to bring something that is worthy of a toast to celebrate this sublime moment- still young, but mostly of the spirit, officer saluted and came quickly to the bar. - Miss - turned to the charming barmaid - Can you give me General Purcell's favorite drink? And how much , my lovely, the whole bottle costs? - there was a kind of uncertainty in the voice of the officer Bataillon de Tirailleurs Corses. - But today, you will not pay - barmaid had seen officer's confusion - General Purcell pays the bill - she added quickly. - Oh, of course, he could feel offended if I paid - ordering alcohol clearly revived. - In this case two bottles please! :mrgreen: :mrgreen: :mrgreen:

And watch out for Allied senior officers, their bar tabs can cause some headache even with your new pay. :D

Roy,

my hearty congratulations for the new command.
The french HQ did make the right choice.
