Gentlemen, I've just started this campaign as the LGA,  , against the PC & wanted to gather a decent strategy from you grizzled LGA vets on how I should approach the spring campaign of 1813. Has anyone even tried this campaign yet? Any & all thoughts are welcome!  Regards. |

Playing the games aginst computer AI is really pointless IMHO. The AI behaves very eratically and does things no competent player would ever do. |

Sir, You have definitely right. The results of these battles are completely beyond all the laws of probability. Unless it comes to learn the system, it can be taken as some form of education, but each who make such needs to be aware that battle vs human opponent can be badly lost, what about vs AI was a piece of cake. |

I will sometimes play a "hot seat" game against myself? I know, sounds strange and doesn't seem challenging at all, but I can of plan things out ahead of time for each side and then try to execute the orders as planned or "randomly" decide a course of action. It is more of a simulation and practice against a live opponent (even if that is opponent is myself), but you get to see things that may or may not work against a real person. Regards, |

Regards, This is part of my Operational Planning methods as well Kevin. The PoV from the other side can reveal many aspects of grand strategy that one would otherwise not consider. Regards, |
