Overnight my beloved team took on the mighty English at Twickenham in front of 81000 singing fans. Last year they beat us the only time we have lost since winning the world cup in 2011. To the words of swing low sweet chariot the All Blacks signaled through their Haka they were well and truly ready for the battle. http://tvnz.co.nz/rugby-news/all-blacks-in-unforgettable-spine-tingling-haka-video-5712222 This is worth a watch once you get past the ads. England played well but we prevailed 30-22. Making it 13-0 for us this season. I know this belongs in off topic but the glory of the mighty All Blacks is similar to the glory of Tondu's france! Vive L'All Blacks! England conquered....tick. |

It was a truly compelling and tense match. Thoroughly enjoyable. I thought the England forwards just about had the edge in the tight but the All Blacks had more understanding, and class, out in the open spaces (nothing new there then!). England were probably unlucky to have had a try disallowed when the video ref couldn't see the ball over the line, but the All Blacks deserved their victory. So congratulations to you kiwis. Looking forward to next time... |

Hi Colin Was at the stadium in France one week ago. Was a very good game, lot of respect from both teams. The Haka was well respected from the 80K+ audience. There was a minute of silence to honor the victims of the 1st WW , especially the first All Blacks captain (1905) Dave Gallaher who died in France in 1917. It was starnge to see the All Blacks playing in white but as usal and independantly of the color, the All Black won !
