I agree with these two, fine French officers. We certainly should not forget what this is all about.  It's about reclaiming the crown from a murderous, Corsican thief and restoring order to a society gone utterly mad.

Oh, no! I would prefer it if you sticky fingered Frenchmen would not try to "rescue" anything. I have been around long enough to know that the terms "rescue" and "liberate" in the French vernacular translate nearly directly into "plunder", "rape", and "pillage" when converted into action.

I have heard that rumor, and he is certainly fluent in German as well as the King's Own English. In point of fact, he was born in England and has never visited my homeland. I really don't attribute his inceesant speech to madness though. I think he just has a lot to say.   Madness is murdering your rightful rulers, stealing your neighbor's possessions, and still thinking that the rest of the world will simply let you get away with doing so. Sounds familiar, doesn't it?

Nope, can't say that it does.  Could you perhaps try explaining? And if I don't care for the explanation, I can always try shooting you again, or perhaps enforcing those enlistment papers I happen still to have.
