Hi My name is Antonio Zinno and this is my first post; i am an old wargamer ( not as old as many of you) especially of JTS, played all talonsoft games almost 20 years ago and now starting to buy and play all the new ones. Started Pbem just 1 month ago with Pierre Desruisseaux and i am learning a lot with his help, very nice guy and helpful. Now , After playing some battles with Waterloo, and enjoing it a lot, i buyed another JTS game Leipzig; but i am a little disappointed: the 3D units are too little to see vs the 3d units in waterloo game. Is there a way, or a mod to enlarge them? here is a file to check what i am saying. The units in Leipzig are the same in the 10 mins scenario or in 15 mins scenario, no difference , they are all the same. The terrain too is like a little darker, but perhaps i can find a mod for it. thanks in advance Antonio |

Here is a link to the Graphics Mod webpage that I created for our club. Take a look around and see if any of this might be helpful to you. http://www.wargame.ch/wc/nwc/Club%20Webpages/Graphics_Mods/Graphics%20Mods.html |

Already checked there, but there is nothing that modify the 3D units........i begin to suspect that have to survive with that units, but i really do not understand why they changed form the ones used in Waterloo to the ones used in Leipzig. Btw thanks for the fast reply |

You are very welcome. Sorry they did not help. I very rarely use the 3D Views myself when I play. If you do find some 3D Mods somewhere, please let me know and I will add them to my webpage. That goes for everyone else in our club as well. I will be glad to include any quality mod work that improves the games for our membership. |

Nothing elaborate on my part, although the units shown on the Graphic Mods Webpage in the top section are the actual units that you will have if you use those mods. It's really easy enough just to switch out the files in your game and compare. Personally, I use EzJax for the most part, but John Corbin generally prefers Volcano Man and a lot of people use Philippe Divine's work. If you operate on the 2D Maps as I do, you really need to download Bill Peter's and my work in this regard. They make the terrain much easier to see in 2D Views. |

Hi There I mainly use 3d (and 2d) but I wonder are you using the Zoomed in version. That image looks tiny in your post. Probably you have as it sounds like you are experienced. The HPS /JTS series are not as scenario specific as BG so the graphics have never been as good. I run Philips mods and they are ok. Certainly the map is much better. Sometimes I insert the map graphics and leave the unit graphics as is. You can do this if you like the larger ones. regards |

You can do this if you like the larger ones. regards I use all the zoom, 2D for strategy and Grand strategy, 3D zoom in for tactics cause i can see better the terrain details, or cause i like it, remember me miniature wargames ![]() I have modified the terrain using the terrain tile from some mod around and the trees, house, river etc etc from many other; the map now is clear for me, but the units are too small. I am changing the 3d100 and 3d50 files copying from the waterloo ones, but is a long long work and do not know well each figure which unit is. Can anyone help me telling me how to identify all of them?? the problem is that Lipzieg has a lot of units more than Waterloo and the figures in the Waterloo files are less than Liepzig. Antonio p.s. i cannot add a better file than that; the better one is bigger , around 1Mb and can attach only one of 125x125 pixel |
