So he latest casualty to the French battle record belongs to me, yet again....I thought it'd be a good scenario to play, the one in Quatre Bras, the Vanguard. Turns out villages are costly and so is French cavalry.... :P :(

A Spaniard named Bradshaw (what type of Spanish name is that? :P ) beat my cavalry to a silly stupor. His low quality Dutch-Belgians sat in their village in squares and caused me great loss when I finally managed to charge at him. Meanwhile his pesky rifles took out cannons of mine. I have always said the Dutch-Belgians were underrated anyway, but cripe, let's not prove it! :P

Anyway another sorry affair for the 2ème Régiment de Carabiniers!

Careful with Richard is a brave opponent on the battlefield is an honor to have him in the Spanish squad. :D :D

Many years ago, on a diplomatic mission to the Kingdom of Spain, a young officer on the frigate involved met my mother-to-be in the royal palace. Being both of quality and high blood they were allowed to wed. A year later I was born. During ensuing hostilities my father was killed on the high seas against the wretched French. So I kept his name.One of his ancestors was a judge, John Bradshaw of Oliver Cromwell fame, but stayed in Spain where I was raised to do good, serve the King, and rid the world of revolutionary Frenchmen!

But I digress. For now I lead Russian warriors against this most rabid of croissant eating vermin. Long live Mother Russia (said with a Spanish accent)

Now about that Frenchman you are chasing across the steppes... I think it is a bit of a far stretch to classify a scared rabbit as a "rabid" vermin. :roll: :roll: :roll:

But listen here Tiny Fat German Pig Dog Ugly Hanoverian Cousin to the Smelly Englishmen......I'll have you know there is nothing scared about me or my men! My men die every battle in place, at the front, facing the enemy and die by the thousands! :P My losses are earned on the field of battle, right at the front and every game is played to the very, very bitter end! :mrgreen:

Here here my brave comrade..

I to have lost to the Major but my men fought bravely and with honour and I fought to the bitter end, and how any Spaniard can say anything about the French is beyond me.

May I point out that the French gave the civilised world many things and made the world a much better place.
Law and justice
Field Ambulances
Schooling
Equality
Liberty
Abolished the feudal system
and many more......
So to be called VERMIN is a class A insult.

Please Sir enlighten me, what did the Spanish bring to the table, paella.

As for the British, you fight the French to liberate Europe from our beloved Emperor you call the tyrant, yet over a third of the world was governed or controlled by you yet we liberated the the countries we invaded and provided better prospects for all.

So put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I think Sir Walter Raleigh did that .... I think there was a warning label on the side of the first barrel shipped in from Virginia, " Any French rebellious rabble rousing rebels will die of lead poisoning if they touch this" It was only on the first barrel as the shippers had to pay by the letter, and well, in those days there were no Cliff notes yet.

On the second barrel there was written, " And so shall it be that any one who has a name of Scott Ludwig or any combination there of to include Ludwig Scott, Scott von Ludwig, Ludwig the Meek, or Scott with any surname, shallst be beaten asunder and thricely, in any digital combat therein he shall or descendants in memoriam shallst participate in".

Again, price per letter prohibited more than one barrel be labeled which accounts for you still being able to play and win. Also, being done with the fancified calligraphy of the day, it was misinterpreted as, "this product may be harmful to your health", or something like that.
