NWC Newsletter Comes Back in Print

Officers of the Club!

I am proud to announce that the Cabinet has agreed to allow the Newsletter to come back into print. Many might recall with fond memories the many stories, reports, articles, fun & laughs that the Newsletter contained in the past. As well as play tips, hints, scenario reviews and a plethora of other things related to the Club, our games and Napoleonic history.

The Newsletter will be a quarterly issue, done four times a year, though it might actually be three this year given when it actually comes out.

In the next week or two I will be preparing a email to ask for articles to be submitted. The email will be sent to Army Commanders to circulate amongst their commands. I will also post here too about it. Anyone and everyone is welcome to submit something. Also Army Commanders will be asked to submit updates for their commands on medals, promotions et al.

If we happen to get a flood of articles, I will keep some on hand for the issues later this year. So don't be offended, the submission will be published no doubt. :)

Anyone who has questions is welcome to post here or email me: eric2900@aol.com

Look for the request for articles shortly and start thinking of your ideas!

Hi Scott, great idea, and I like these pictures you keep coming u with , where are you getting them - the black Watch at Bay that would be a great print to frame

Roy...thanks! :) I've run across various pages over the years and paintings as well. I used Google Images to find them again with search terms or to find something new that is neat. I know a number of the artists by name, so usually I can troll to find some of their stuff.

I am thinking of doing a piece for the Newsletter on Lady Butler and maybe in the future seeing if I can get interviews from contemporary Napoleonic artists like Keith Rocco or Mark Churms et al.... :)
