My dear Spanish brothers-in-arms. Please, I need your consultation. At this time, I work on a historical custom scenario for the Battle of Medina de Rioseco, July 14th, 1808. From the Spanish side, the main heroes of the day were two converged Grenadier battalions of The Army of Galicia's 4th Division, whose 'a la Tercios' gallant bayonet attack on the Paramo de Valdecuevas heights was " a last gleam of the great ancient Spanish glory". My sources give some contradictory info. So, I would like to elaborate the class of those troops: were they the Grenadiers of some regular regiments, or so-called 'los Grenaderos Provincial'? Thank you for ahead. Chest' imeyu! |
