How may it happen???
I have a game running against Clifton Seeney.
He sent his last move to me (turn 46/400).
When I don't want to see the replay all goes right, BUT, when I want to look at the replay I can see another game!!!??? A game that I m' not playing at all though my key works!
By a very strange coincidence I can see Allies move (turn 2) in large map historical scn, which is a new game that we just started in a MP, maybe guys of my team will understand...
anyone has an idea?

Both delete the PBEMAIL.XXX and YYY files AND ZIP the game file.

Are the game files labelled the same? If not it is quite possible that they are two separate games. Also look at the date of the game file, it may be an old one that got resent. Both things have happened to me in the past. One way around it if there is confusion is to rename your current file.

Your password may work simply because the game file sent hasn't had password protection enabled. People often remember by turn 2 or 3.

It doesn't sound like a file corruption in this particular case to me. And all the recently patched games automatically have the xxx and yyy files deleted. Certainly though you may think about zipping the file, I've found larger games unzipped can get corrupted.

Another issue could be that you were playing two scenarios in the same game at once---If you have the program open twice and are playing two games at once, it can screw up the files...

It certainly does not sound like an issue with the temporary files, nor do I suspect it to be a problem with file compression either. Jim makes a very valid point that I know to be true as well. Andy's points are also valid.

If you cannot solve the problem, Christian, I would be glad to take a look at the file itself as an objective party.

Most likely, Cliff will just need to play your last turn again

It is thanks to Hakan Han in this topic: http://wargame.ch/board/nwc/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=14205
Mark, thank you for your proposal. Too bad for the replay this time but if you want to look at the file out of curiosity and if you have time for that, I'll send it to you.

I suspect Jim as correct as the same thing happened with our game. I had the campaign game open and took a break to play a smaller battle file that appeared in my inbox. When I sent Jim my completed Grossbeeren move, all he got was a replay of Lowenberg.

Sure, send the file to my email account, Christian. I would love to take a look.
