All,

I lose my computer during the first weekend of April and finally get back on line to discover that a bar room brawl has started without me!

So, of course, apart from repeating this message (in part, and adding a bit) in the War Room, I shall loftily disdain to recognise any such activities and get on with my gaming.

Helga, pass that good bottle of wine over before some idiot breaks it! I'll put it to better use!

This little black pup, for one, is now back gaming! To my opponents, when I rediscover your email addresses later today, I will send you my game turns. If you send me your last turn, I could pick up your email addresses more easily! :)

On with the fight! Vive la France! :D

Salute!

General Oakford, glad to see you have found a new steed upon which to ride with your Escadrons upon the battle maps.

Yes, mind the crunching of glass beneath one's feet.

Ah, Helga, so quick with the wine.

Regards,

Monsieur Seeney, there is no need to send your last turn, I have it, completed, ready to send to you.

Todd, there's nothing like good leather and heeled cavalry boots in a brawl!

But here I sit, drinking good wine. Helga, another bottle, please, with 2 glasses for my friends Clifton and Todd, here.

In that case, Helga, just bring over that box of bottles! No need for more glasses, the wine is already in glass! I'm sure we can do some damage to its contents!

Clifton, can you email me so that I can pick up your email address and send on the turn.

Thanks

Mark,

Welcome back, those pesky PC units sometime retreat to the rear without ever so much as giving us a warning!

Gentlemne (see the wine is working!), gentlemen, (he ducks as a chair whizzes past). Being also a gentleman, he makes sure his glass is filled before speaking.

OK, mesdames, messieurs et les autres (see, I'm all inclusive, here) you forget what we are here for!

(The three other officers with him quickly recede under the table..., taking uncorked bottles with them, being gentlemen, after all)

We are here to fight the shopkeepers and their paid spawn! Not to side with them about this idiocy called democracy! Mon Dieu, why did we invent an Emperor!

The Hanoverian Guardsman carefully packs his fine, crystal shot glass into his pack, being sure that it is well padded against all accidents, as a Dutch-Belgian officer is thrown over his table by one of Napoleon's, blue clad thugs.

With a broad grin, he punches the French officer squarely in the jaw, dropping him like a sack of potatoes. "Now that's what I'm talking about!", he says as he ducks the bottle that was thrown in reprisal.
