Where, specifically, did you see this information a few years ago, Cliff?

As I recall it was on the OOB page now I might be wrong it went back on games three or four years. it showed who was playing whom the name of the game and the winner and the looser. You could check what was the most poplar game and almost any information on games. It covered every one who was active in the club. It had to be in 07 or 06

Sounds like the kind of info that Snowden took with him to Russia.

That generally sounds like the information that is contained in our DoR Reports, but those were only started after the creation of the DoR System in May 2010, so I know those do not go back to 2006. I know that our Games Record Pages that were kept on spreadsheets prior to the creation of our current DoR System go back as far as 1999. Both the DoR Records and the Games Records Pages are readily accesible from the NWC Homepage.

These are the only records I personally know to exist, but if there are any other records you have that should be publically accesible, please send them to me and I will be glad to post them for the benefit of our members.

Not true, Cliff. The DoR Database replaced the older, independent spreadsheet system in May 2010. From that point in time, the DoR Reports were used, and the individual spreadsheets discontinued. The DoR Reports have been updated every year thereafter.

Are you somehow unhappy with our current system, Cliff?

As this has been our operating procedure since May 2010, I am curious as to why you would bring this up now, four years after the fact.

Pardon moi I have brought it up before and I would just like to see who is playing whom and what games they are playing. I not at all unhappy but the like of information makes it hard to find games that all is that too much to ask? Compare the information with the information we now have on who and what games are played. The old system gave all of that! :frenchsalute: :frenchsad:

So the reason you are critcizing our existing system is because you are having a hard time finding opponents? Really, Cliff??

You currently have 11 Registered games in play against 10 different opponents for a total commitment of 2,914 game turns. It would seem that our current system is very efficient at getting people in touch to play games. Based on such obvious success, particularly in your case, I do not in any way understand your criticism. I have never had any problem finding all of the games I ever wanted to play, and it looks like you are doing quite well in this regard yourself.

Based on the actual facts, I do wonder at your comments, as well as your true motivation for making them.

I gather Cliff is referring to the records when there were maintained by Geert van Uythoven prior to the new system that started in 2010.
If you click the NWC Games Record button (second column from the left) you can see these records.

Although it is true that this did show all the registered games, both in progress and finished, we were at the mercy of the respective army webmasters to update the webpages to reflect our OBD.

I find the current system far superior in that regard. We immediately know our points, our VPs (my VPs change every other year or so. LOL). I trust that the generation of this system was a great undertaking and any further enhancements would require a great deal of work.

Sire I have no underline motives or wish to start another club I just thought it was a bon idea then. If I raise eye brows up, It was not my intension. You have more information on me then I have on anyone and I just felt that it would help others. My games will end and it would be nice to know what is poplar. I love playing these games in my retirement that is all Mesi :frenchsalute:
