Mon ami on this day in France many years ago the King of France killed or had killed all the Knights of the Temple, truly a sad day for free Mason. Many who were lucky escaped to England in Scotland and restarted the Freemasonry! |

When he was being executed, the Grand Master Jaques de Molay is said to have told Philip IV and Pope Clement V that they would both face judgement before God within the year.
