It is a warm midsummer evening and sitting around a table near one of the few windows of the Rhine Tavern sit Maréchal Lambert, Maréchal Lelievre and Général Schmidgall discussing Maréchal Lambert's recent victory on the battlefields of Leipzig. The door to the Tavern opens and in walks a very frustrating looking Coalition Coronel with a few of his officers. They all seem to be grumbling to themselves and we hear they have just been defeated on the fields of Waterloo.

Just as the French officers go back to their discussion the door swings open and entering the Tavern is a very excited new La Grande Armée Lieutenant sporting a huge grin on his face. He sees his commander and the other two officers with him and saunters over to their table, salutes and in excitement announces he has just defeated his enemy on the fields of Waterloo.

The officers stand, shake his hand and pats on the back with cheers all around... Général Schmidgall orders a bottle of wine and Lieutenant Andrews is invited to sit and tell them all of his exploits that won him his first victory!

The grumbling from the corner table seems to get a bit louder....

Then out of the shallows of darkness out of the fog of a hundred smocking pipes stands the dark fellow, know by many of the French Maison du Roi and the Grumblers the gaiterstraps of that imp who sets on the world stage now.
Wearing his tight fitting Blue dolman with yellow piping the bage of the Austrian 3rd Huzan holding his Black shako trimed also with yellow cords not the unitform of a Feldmarschall but a fighting trooper. His trousers are trooper issue also!
He draws his sword that was against the rules in this neutral tavern.
He bellows out Bravo mon ami bravo!
The colonels you won that sword most have been one of them colonels that buys their commission from that slaphappy brain dead garcon that sets on the British throne. Moreover, not an Imperial Soldat of Austria or Imperial Russia, who have earn their swords in many battles!
An I dear say one of your émigrés who still believes in the revolution!
He bellows out once more, so that every ear in the place hears him “BRAVO”!
Now cher, if ever you are up to it ,I know you garcons are not very strong but young and weak from drinking your mama milk, I posted a man game meet me if you have the balls, laughing as he turns his attention to the garcons commander, I await your pleasure on two battle fields Monsieur!
