"Hmmmm, I wonder what kind of French Chef our wayward Brigadier Sheffield has become", mused the Hanoverian General known as 'Der Falke'.

"Most likely a pastry chef", replied the Hanoverian Colonel known as 'Der Wolf'.

"Ach, ja", replied the Hanoverian Brigade Commander known as 'Der Wurger'. "It was sehr nice auf our Army Kommander to send Herr Sheffield to ze French Pastry School."

"Oh yes", exclaimed the Hanoverian Lieutenant known as 'Die Heulboje', "I love pastries!"

Thank you kind Sirs. :frenchsalute: I will strive to uphold the honour of my new rank. My dear Juliette, I trust that you will ensure that the Gentlemen's glasses are constantly replenished. My pay upgrade will take care of my account. :frenchhappy: :frenchdrunk:

Thank you General Jones for your kind words and your belief in my ability as a fine chef. :frenchsalute: I have found that when it comes to British pork, Prussian sausage, Russian beef stroganov, Austrian Rindsuppe, Hanoverian Schnitzel, Dutch cheese and Belgian chocolate, I’m finding it very easy with regards to slicing – dicing – chopping – boiling – stewing – frying – brewing – braising – roasting – toasting – cutting – baking – mashing – pickling – grilling – grating – straining – stirring – pureeing – skewing and finally stuffing.
My cooking utensils remain very sharp. :frenchlol: :frenchlol: :frenchlol:

Just stay clear of the salad forks, Herr Sheffield. I have heard that they may be detrimental to a French officer's health.

Congratulations sir! And while we're on the subject of cooking, please remember that it's never too early for the French Army to start butchering its horses. Russian winters and all... :russianveryhappy:
