Salute!

I am posting in support of the nomination for the candidacy of Roy Purcell as Public Relations Officer.

Roy is a long standing member of the NWC, who has displayed his value as a leader in the club through his command of V Corps in La Grande Armee, and his participation in Tirailleurs et Dragons!.

He is also a member in other internet clubs related to wargaming, which is a vital aspect of serving as our PR officer.

I have full faith in Roy's abilities in this role.

Oh yes, nearly forgot, I will obviously not be seeking re-election to this post myself.
My short time in serving in this position has taught me much about the workings of our club at the administrative level, and the importance of building relationships with other related clubs on the internet.

All of which I hope will help me to continue to work on behalf of our membership in the future.

Regards,

I speak in support of Roy Purcell, my old campaign comrade and long-time supporter of our noble club. His dedication and enthusiasm will serve us well.

And thank you Todd, for your usual excellent service to our club.

All the best,

GdB Bill Reaves

Roy will make an excellent PR guy... He has often sold me on his false plans of attack. :frenchlol: I have known Roy sometime and believe him to be honest and straight forward. I am confident he will always do what is best for the club if he is elected.

I will put my name forward for this position. The members deserve to hear from the candidates and make an informed decision as to the quality of the leaders they choose to elect.

Uncontested elections do not engage the members and we need that engagement and dialogue to move the club forward. You cannot have that without providing a choice.

Fellow Officers,

I also wish to place my support for Roy. I think it is obvious that he is dedicated to the NWC. I think he will make a very fine Public Relations Officer.

The nomination period is now closed, and this thread has been locked. Look for each of the candidates to post in the Campaign Topic next.

Thanks to Roy Purcell and Jeff Bardon for standing for the election to the post of Club Public Relations Officer. Best of luck, gentlemen.
