Gentlemen I am not sure whats wrong but no matter what the game (HPS) it seems I cannot get it to let me send a file I saved for e-mail nor play those sent to me so far. I have followed all that Rich Hamilton has sent to me so far and still no luck. I hate Windows 8.1 for sure now. I am trying to keep my cool and be patient as I do want to battle once again. I will continue to work on this and keep all updated.

Tony, great to see that has been resolved. I can see the Coalition officers quaking in their collective boots. Todd, thanks for helping out a fellow grognard. Since more and more members will be using or transitioning to Windows 8.1, could you post the solution as a sticky? I am sure others will need it before long (gazes at the ancient XP machine on desk and sighs). Thanks! Cheers!

Being a 'luddite' when it comes to computers, before I make such a post I will try to have a discussion with some other users of Windows8 to see if the solution that has proven to work for me and several members I have helped with this matter, is 'universally applicable'. The problem seems to be one of understanding where to place your installed game files, Windows8 being different from previous operating systems. That said, I would be glad to hear from any member who also uses Windows8 so we can compare notes, as it were. Feel free to PM, or email me to discuss this matter. Regards, |
