Hello all Well after reading a number of threads below I find all this very encouraging. A willingness to stick together and keep the NWC alive. There's certainly some life in the old girl yet. And a consensus to say past is past. Indeed. I think it's time we all moved forward and regard this situation as a new and fresh start. Look at it in a positive light. I certainly have and that is why I've come back. I'm sorry so many old faces have gone, and maybe in time they can be coaxed back. I'd certainly work towards that goal. There are still a number of familiar people here though and that is very positive. We are a collection of individuals here. Everyone is different. We are all here though for our love of games.....politics and backstabbing can be left in the real world where it belongs, not here. So I'm looking forward to a bright and new future here. If folks want to join new clubs that is absolutely fine, I'm in several. But let them not try and demolish one club at the expense of another. I've invested a lot of my life in this club and this is where I'll stay. |

Thanks Anton David. Yes I agree 100%. We must all learn from our errors, real or perceived. That's how evolution works. Either that or we go the way of the dodo. We've all been culpable to a greater or lesser extent, and I'm willing to acknowledge my part in that. That must be for the basis for progression, and not for another round of witch-hunting, back-biting and recriminations. As I say, I see a positive attitude emerging from the last few posts, a sort of club epiphany if you will. |
